We are partnering with Kugawana Spirulina, part of Secteur10, for the distribution of Spirulina

Partnership for Food Security

In 2015, Kugawana established a farm in southern Kenya, following months of construction, with full-scale production commencing in early 2017. This farm now operates at maximum capacity, providing employment for four local villagers. Their primary product, spirulina, is distributed free of charge in the surrounding areas through elementary schools and some clinics This distribution is made possible by donations to their NGO, and enables them to reach over 1,300 children with the school feeding programs.

Maisha Marefu has partnered with Kugawana, receiving spirulina for distribution within the communities they serve. Currently, over 180 children benefit from daily consumption of spirulina, contributing to improved nutrition and health outcomes in the region
