A Heartwarming Christmas with Street Smarters Kids

Last Christmas, we had the privilege of spending a truly special day with the Street Smarters Kids organisation, founded by the incredible Doris Wako. In the spirit of giving and compassion, Doris opens her home to 25 street children, providing them with love, care, and hope for a brighter future. At Maisha Marefu, we were honoured to be a part of this heartwarming celebration.

Doris Wako's dedication to these children is nothing short of inspiring. Through Street Smarters Kids, she not only offers them a safe place to stay but also empowers them with education, and most importantly, a sense of belonging. As we sat down to a festive meal with the children, their laughter and joy filled the place, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.

Spending Christmas with the Street Smarters Kids was a humbling and unforgettable experience. It reinforced our belief in the power of kindness and compassion to make a difference in the world. We are grateful to Doris Wako for her dedication and commitment to these children, and we look forward to continuing our support for her invaluable work in the months to come.
